Finally, there is the “Tree of Life” group also in Jekabpils! It would be odd not to have a branch there, as since 2012, donations have been used to reconstruct to Dignaja Manor located in Jēkabpils county. The manor will become a psychosocial rehabilitation center in order to create a place where can gather strength and return to life after an oncological illness. Sergey Novikov is the leader of the "Tree of Life" group in Jekabpils. He has been inspired and eager to play an active role in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program “The Source of Power”. In the meantime, the group is looking for its best course of action.

 Maybe it will be movie nights, or regular meetings with a psychologist, or maybe it will be needlework or sports. According to Sergei, one thing is clear, for people who come to the meeting, it has been helpful.
